Chris Coffin Water Drawing

The union between man, nature, and technology, coupled with the artist's own personal and intimate connection to the ocean are the subjects for Chris Coffin's latest exhibit at Dam Stuhltrager Gallery, entitled 'Water Drawings' On exhibit will be the sculpture and video documentation from the project, 'Water Drawing', an ongoing series of photographs stemming from the 'Water Drawing' project entitled 'Buoy Portraits, and an installation entitled 'Hanna' which incorporates the use of wave prediction models to generate drawings based on the swells recently surfed by the artist.

so stealing the save the sand and water from hurricane swells--hmm wonder if he any extra bonnie or felix for me --those are two of my favorites
