Hanna's House Party!

The Ark was already built so all we hadda do was relax and wait for Hanna to roll thru. Unfortunately the BBQ got rained out but we kept it HB w/PBNJay, Ham and Cheese and Lays. 'Like Mom used to pack for lunch, comfort food' as one hardcore snacker put it. Something comforting about the rain, high winds and Huey too...

rollin in PJ's

Enjoy cupped beverage service

Too much music to capture with sets going off on three different floors! Compulsory blown-out digi pix...

TEMPTATION...their dark-n-mysto gallery set got many a butt moving but was too short! Keep a cheek...

Red Dawn 2 constructed a stage with some of Ben Bedouin's art and a strobe light. Reverse set here featuring Wolfy on drums (he usually sings) and Allison on vocals (she usually drums). HBadass!

Two songs later the rest of Awesome Color appeared and the crowd went buck!
I think they were singin' "Louie Louie"

Allison taking a breather w/adult bev

THE VIVIAN GIRLS...these chix rock harder than ya moms. Was forced to abandon the snack table for their killer set. My baby wants me dead...

Monster Island cleansing ritual which made the whole building smell like those colored stinkbombs from back in the day. Lots of half-naked people though, which is always hype...

Basement session?

EX MODELS...the basement was packed (and smokey) for their spastic driving Neu-zee set. Too many heads, could only get HB Zac pedalin' out... Not shown: Shah and Kid goin mental!

HB feeling

GOLDEN TRIANGLE...it's not clear who's in the band and who's not but their shows are seriously off the chain! Like Nico scraping bubble gum off her pumps...

Go OJAY!

(((((slept for a bit)))))))
...but HANNA was AWAKE!

Serena and Mason Fly

The first of hopefully many Two Birds Fly shaper/artist series is now available! Mani Mandala is the debut foam dude and dope artists like Kyle Field, Johanna St.Clair, Serena Mitnik-Miller, Lana Porcello, Thomas Campbell and Nathaniel Russell are the visual stimulators along with the laminators. They come with kustom silk-screened board bags too!

Marc Andreini just finished shaping the second series. Get 'em on while they last. These are super reasonably priced and insanely collectable!

The Old New York Is No More

Or is it? JA, RD, PACE and non-union RATS poppin' up everywhere. Daytime throwies in condo'd neighborhoods, wtf?

Quality of life crimes on the rise. A man sits alone in the line-up with his thoughts and long period groundswell...

Kandy Hassler stopped by the other day to tell me my hair wasn't greasy enough. A ghost of NY past. Here's the nose of his Papa JT with classic noose nose art and kustom wacksjob. Apparently some of the first NYC skaters were surfing brothers. Seek!

Homeboy keepin it real with the single/double kine quiver...

Yo, that building that won't be there next time. Baudelaire Respect!

Ridgewood was German before it was Italian. FM Boros more disgruntled than ever after tweaking his knee in the shorey. Rest up HA!

Saturday afternoon video sesh with Clams and Naughty By Nature. Yeah, the streets know about Jerz!

Junod eggy single heading for the shorey...

Third wave Euskadi Possee in full effect, Bonzer/Speed Dialer corps this time around. Old world respect!

Montauk Tin picked up the 6'6 MP hull-shredder last week and came in today to grab the 5'9 GeeBee. Talk about keeping it HARD BODY! Some serious hull-hum out east these days...

Hunter and Fineline McCopy. Shred is ready when you are! Seeeeeeeeeek one from Mr. Hilbers...

-Chapman Skate blanks back in stock. CREATE and SKATE!
