Scrambled with Bacon

Busy warm and fuzzy daze in the mild shipworm sun. The XCEL wintersuits are nearly out and a new order is already in, scheduled to arrive early next week. A 4/3 with 3-5mm boots and 3-5mm gloves will get ya out there although everybody keeps talking about Tudor paddling out in Montauk this weekend, where it's always colder in just a 3/2. Dunno, must be all that jujitsu. For most a cap is optional and if your suit has a hood you're probably wearing it on the paddle out!

New travel boardbags arrived from Da Kine for those wishing to escape the onset of Winter or just wanting to keep their boards extra nice. A small kine order from the Solitary Arts arrived: Drifters tees, trucks and wheels. The Nat Russell skate decks are being set-up with Trackers and a choice of SA's Black Eggs or Drifters. Shredding is imminent..........................

Speaking of which, Andy Kessler (whose kustom decks are in stock and can be demo-ed at the shop) stopped by yesterday afternoon on his way back from Montauk with a beefy down-railed vintage Robert August single-bump MR-styled twin fin. It's for repair and unfortunately we can't keep it! However we do have that Joel Tudor bellyboard-paipo thing that JT made for him a few years back when he hurt himself skating. It's got this really trippy Marley text and super smokey abstracts. It's now hanging near the stringerless Chuck Dent (Experience) sharing signals.

Been blessed by Sir Richard Bishop's latest September release of stadium psych ragas americanas...

  2. I saw the belly board shaped by Joel Tudor in person! Very trippy, share some photos so that I can tease my buddies in PT.

    That's evil I know. ;)
